why braids

i have always been a hippy at heart. natural products were important to me, but i was also someone who didn't believe in spending money on myself. i went from using the best smelling hair products that I could buy at the same time that i bought my eggs and gum to using the no-poo method and now i found something that actually works for me. here is a little bit about my journey to finding the best haircare products in the world.

i finally admitted that i needed to take a little time to take care of myself and thought a great way to start would be getting a massage. my friend suggested his cousin and so i called kat and set up an appointment. i went and had an amazing massage and then kat told me that she had started with a company called monat and it just came to canada. she asked if i had heard of it and when i said no she said she would give me some samples. that night i tried the samples and was absolutely blown away. they made my hair so soft, while making it feel clean and i actually had volume. i was able to wash my hair three times with the single samples as i didn't need very much at all and was able to have my hair not get greasy within the same day. it was amazing! i can't remember if she texted me or if i texted her but i told her i wanted the products. she told me the cost and i had a moments hesitation because they seemed very expensive... but, she also told me she wouldn't be massaging anymore because she needed to spend all her time working with monat. so the money i would have spent on a massage went to buy my first volume system. my hair and life changed then.

it may sound crazy to believe that your life can change from hair care products, but it has. i immediately bought into monat as a market partner because it was cheaper and they had no minimums for selling. i was super busy with my family, photography business and selling with another network marketing company so i put one post up and left the business part alone... for two years!

the products worked so well for me that i started to get compliments on my hair again. i felt confident that my hair was not going to keep falling out, instead it was growing back and my thinning hair was looking and feeling fuller. i didn't want to sell because i could only spread myself so thin, but after slowly realizing that i could no longer sell something that i didn't believe in i texted kat and told her i was going to work my monat business for two months. she jumped on board with me and literally guided me through my first three months. she would give me a goal and we would crush it together. never once did she tell me she was too busy (and she could have being one of the top 10 income earners for canada) and she helped me to realize the potential for amazing things to come. when we chatted goals i was clear from the start. i wanted to earn more money to be able to live generously. i want to give away more than i keep and i want to be able to buy a bigger space for our family to grow and to be able to have more children that need a safe and loving place to live. 

monat has created a business that cares deeply for their team and genuinely have safe products that have amazing results. my family has used these products for over two years and love them. i use them, #gorgeousglenn uses them and all my kiddos (permanent zoo members and the ones that come and go) use them and I love to share them with everyone. my goal is huge and my heart is set on making sure that everyone who wants to live a healthier, safe and non toxic lifestyle can and i would love to be the one to help you get started with monat.
